Room 3 Easter Egg Hunt

To celebrate Easter Room 3 took part in a Easter Egg Hunt which led them around the school following clues before leading them to the playground to search for their Easter Eggs. Well done to Maia, Libby and Darcie who were the winning team on the day!

Don't forget Mufti Day tomorrow

A reminder that tomorrow is mufti day. Don't forget your gold coin donation. Those in tech please remember that you need appropriate gear ie shoes for class - Hard Materials would need hard shoes (school shoes are encouraged), Fabrics and foods need covered in shoes eg sneakers are fine. All students need hair tied back like normal please.

The Zoo comes to life!

Last week the Balmac Room's 7, 8 and 14 Zoo was presented at our parents sharing night. The students have been working on this term's ASPIRE inquiries to create, make and present an invented creature that would survive in the habitat of their choice.

Balmac Zoo Update!

Room's 7,8,& 14 have been very busy working on our Zoo inquiries over the last few weeks. Our learning street and the art room were a hive of activity last week as we worked on the many parts of our inquiry presentations. The results of this inquiry will be on display for parents to view on Thursday 5th April from 6.30-7.30pm when the Balmac Zoo will be open!

Year 7 Vision Screening

The vision hearing technicians from Population Health, Southern District Health will be visiting our school to screen all year 7 students for distance vision. Screening is not required if your child wears glasses/or is currently under care for their vision. If you do not wish your child to be screened please contact the office as you will need to complete an opt-out slip.
