Orokonui Ecosanctuary

On Wednesday 22nd August room 14 visited the Orokonui Ecosanctuary. The purpose of the trip was to find out more information about the Ecosanctuary and discover the positive impact it is having on our native plants and wildlife here in Dunedin.

Eco-Warriors - Year 8 Impact week activity.

Last week as part of the Year 8 Impact week our group - the Eco-Warriors embarked on a chocolate inspired journey to learn more about a local sustainable local business and also looked at the issues of fair trade, palm oil and eco-packaging.

Sculptural Exploration

The Year 8 students have explored methods of creating 3D triangular shapes using sticks, card and cardboard. Next they explored other shapes, ideas and prototyped. And finally they were onto mading their final sculptures, which they are still making.
