Otago Primary Athletics Championships

The Otago Primary Athletics Champs were held at the Caledonian Ground on Tuesday 21st November. Balmacewen had 92 students competing and there were some fantastic results.

In week 3 we were set the daunting task of creating a recycled instrument that creates soundWow! Making an instrument didnt seem that hard but after only 10 minutes of gluing and sticking we were exhausted.

Room 9 enjoys ballet.

We had great fun learning ballet moves and steps and creating a routine. It was interesting to learn how to move and create characters by the way we move. It was a great session and an opportunity for many to shine.
