Girls Cricket - ANZ Junior Shield

Terracotta Clay Warriors

Year 7 students have continued sculpting and molding miniature clay warriors inspired by the Qin Dynasty Terracotta Army. The Super Skill focus for them was "Problem Solve and Persevere"

Last of the Y8 ART Projects

Students have been constructing cardboard homes and their interiors. They were given a colour restriction of only browns, which encouraged the use of a variety of materials and emphasis on developing ideas. The Super Skills foci were "Problem Solving and Persevering" and "Be My Best."

Waterpolo

The end of season finished on a high with the GOLD team winning the A grade in our Thursday afternoon competition. Our Red team finished second in the B grade and our Blue team had a very tight game going down to Fairfield in the last quarter 2-0.

Year 7 News

It's a wrap! Our PBL performances are over, the end of year celebrations have started and our year 7 students are ready for a well earned break and looking forward to stepping up as Year 8 students in 2021.

International Connections!

One thing we have learnt from this year is how small the world really is. During lockdown we all became familiar with new technology and ways to communicate including ZOOM and this week we had another opportunity to do so.

Ballet

During Week 5 all Year 7 classes were privileged to have a Ballet lesson with Chloe, an educator dancer with the Royal New Zealand Ballet. This was a fantastic session to tie in with our Term Four topic - pARTicipate - with our focus on the ARTS.

Quick Art Lessons
