Mufti Day - Wednesday 3rd July

The school council has organised a mufti day for this Wednesday 3rd July. The cost is $2. Students who have technology on Wednesday also need to bring their school shoes along for those sessions. Thanks, School Council.

Maths - Tiny Homes Challenge!

As part of our Measurement unit in Maths Room's 5,6,25 and 25 have been working on prototyping and designing tiny homes for our end of term project - with the need to think about our eco- footprints and the about of space we take up.

Year 7 News: The "F" Factor - Year 7 Term Three Focus

It has been a very busy Term for our Year 7 students - this newsletter contains a number of articles about some of the fantastic work and activities we have been involved in. Thank you to our parents and communities who continue to support our students. We now look ahead to Term Three. In Term Three the Year 7 classes move on to a Health and Wellbeing integrated theme. The "F" Factor is our catch phrase for the term which will look at - Friendship, Focus, Family, Food, Fun..... under the umbrella of thinking about what being happy and healthy is all about.

The Arts Expo - Term Three

Next term we will be having a celebration of the Arts performance in Week 10, September 25th at Otago Boys High School. This will include our WEARABLE Arts show and talent quest winners, plus other arts performances to link it all together. Three Y7 classes have just finished their first PBL Art Project. The students viewed and discussed New Zealander Pat Hanly's protest art. Next, they selected a topic they wanted to have a voice about: either as a protest, to tell a story or about what inspires them.
