Pineapple Track with the Back Block

On Monday 21 September Rooms 9, 10 and 11 got out to do the Pineapple Track walk. It was a fabulous day and there were some tired legs at the end.

School Council Round Up

This term the school council has run a mufti day and Round-Up Wednesday to raise money for our chosen charity - The Cancer Society.

Girls Football

Unfortunately The Blamac Girls Team had an interchange against Columba cancelled earlier this term due to Covid restrictions. It was fantastic to get the opportunity to play against Tahuna in a one-off match later in the term.

Year 7 News

It has been a fantastic finish to our term. In the last few weeks we have had visits to the Art Gallery, our first Year 7 group assemblies for the term, the Freshman Shield Tug of War Challenge, EOTC Pineapple Track walks, PBL sharing presentations and Athletics. Phew!

Stunning Day Out!

The Year 7 classes have finished the term with the focus on fitness as part of our Hauora health unit. Throughout this week each syndicate has had a day out walking over the Pineapple track and into Ross Creek.

Giant Brain!

Wow! Last week an inflatable giant brain came to school as part of our Year 7 topic on body systems. This was a fantastic learning experience to compliment our current PBL focus.
