This year we have provided a stationery list of all of the items we would like our students to start the year with. We have left it up to parents to purchase this at a time and place convenient to them. We just ask that all stationery is ready to go for the first day of school please. The Otago Primary Athletics Champs were held at the Caledonian Ground on Tuesday 21st November. Balmacewen had 92 students competing and there were some fantastic results.

In week 3 we were set the daunting task of creating a recycled instrument that creates sound… Wow! Making an instrument didn’t seem that hard but after only 10 minutes of gluing and sticking we were exhausted.
