The Year 8's in the Kitchen

The Year 8's have made a strong start in the kitchen this term.

They have made short and puff pastry, savoury scones, fried rice, potato cakes, spaghetti bolognaise and everyone's favourite dumplings & wontons. We've learnt about flavour layering, ratios of meat to sauce, and how to cut an onion.

Lots of learning has been going on. Hopefully they can use their new found skills to cook at home.
