Comfortable Creative Cushions

In Year 7, ākonga learn how to set up their sewing machine and sew; straight lines, corner pivots and reverse.

Practise makes progress and in eleven sessions they create a cushion inner and cover for a chosen stakeholder.

All Ākonga make progress and gain confidence using a variety of tools.

Celebrate their first functional and fabulous outcome made using soft materials.
