Room 9 Kindness Project.

Riley, Rose and Olivia decided for their Kindness Project that they wanted to donate to the Kmart Wishing Tree and they did a bake sale to achieve it.

The Kmart wishing tree appeal is a New Zealand fund that collects presents from the public and donates them to children and others whose families can’t afford presents or to people who may be having a hard time during the Christmas celebration. This was a great charity option therefore chose it to be our sponsor for our bake sale.

The amount of money we raised was phenomenal and will be a great pleasure for the kmart wishing tree appeal to receive.

The total amount of money we raised for the Kmarts wishing tree appeal was $326.

As most of you know, we held a bake sale on the 31st of October and on the 1st of November we sold these following items, Sherbet, Cupcakes, Lolly Cake, Cookies, Weet-Bix slice, Jelly, Popcorn, Lollipops, Tic-Tacs and Marshmallow Truffles.

Lots of people attended the bake sale and brought lots of baked goods, and we would like to acknowledge those people who contributed to the bake sale by buying something, and to Mrs Garthwaite and Hannah for bringing along something we could sell! Also our parents for buying ingredients.
