Keeping in Touch

Term 4 has seen 12 touch teams playing in the Oval Junior Module.

Balmacewen has had 7 boys, 4 girls and 1 mixed team playing in both social and competitive grades over the past 8 weeks.

The Tornadoes Touch Team are leading the competitive boys grade and will play in the finals next week, and the Thunder are playing for 3rd.  In the Girls grade the Lions are also leading the way with the Panthers playing for 3rd.  The mixed team had a slow start but have shown some winning ways in the past few weeks.

The large group of Student referees have been well used this term with most of them reffing 2 games each week.  Otago Touch thanks all these students for their efforts over this term.

The last day for touch is next Thursday 7th December and all tops need to be handed in on that night to their coach.

A BIG thank-you to all the parents, brothers, sisters, ex-students and staff who have volunteered their time to coach, manage and referee the teams as we cannot do it without you.
