Y8's Amazing and Tasty Pies

The second rotation of Year 8's in the foods room have just finished making their designer pies.

The 3 groups of Y8's have practiced making different pastry types, and how to make different sauces.  They have thought about fillings and how we can make them tasty, (and not to have soggy bottoms).  Both Manu and Mary Berry would be proud of these students.  The smells were tantalising and wafting around the school.  We had slow cooked pork, teriyaki chicken and spiced potato GF turnovers amongst the flavours created.  Check out the gallery below of their amazing pies.
