There are some epic prints being created in the Fabrics room.

Check out the photos of some of the new learning taking place in Fabrics.

The students have enjoyed exploring colour, shape, spacing and balnce when developing their understanding of the screen print process.

Everyone had opportunites to problem solve and persevere. Overall, we found out that cutting a plastic stencil using small curved scissors and scalpels was one of the biggest challenges in this unit.

Ä€konga enjoyed working with a partner or a small group of their peers to set up a print station.

When mistakes were made, students had to figure how to solve their problem. This is such a valuable process to go through and their outcomes not only look awesome, they show a lot of hard work and skill development.

Be proud of your attitude and effort Year 8 Fabric students. It always matters how you show up to learn. I have enjoyed teaching you all this term and I hope you have a "bucket filling" holiday!

Remember to choose progess over perfection as perfiection kills creativity :)
