Pink shirt day Friday 16th May - Reminders.

Please read on for important reminders regarding clothing for the Pink Shirt day.

We encourage our students to show their support for Pink shirt day. The idea behind wearing something pink is to show support and awareness of anti bullying and it is Pink Shirt Day right throughout NZ.

They can wear a little or a lot of pink, depending on what you have at home. This might be a pink tie, pink socks, pink hat, or a pink t shirt. Please don't go out and buy pink clothing or costumes especially for the day. I'm sure the organisers would prefer this money was directly given to the charities in need.

It is a non-uniform day so the students are to bring $2 please. If you don't have anything pink then non-uniform clothing is fine in any colour as per our normal non-uniform days.

The money raised will go towards the mental health charities that the council has selected; Mental Health Foundation, Upside Down and St John.

Please note: Students are NOT permitted to wear face paint, nail polish or hair colour.
