Transition from Primary School

In order to provide the best possible support and transition for your child as they move from Primary school to Intermediate, we try to visit or speak to the year 6 teachers from their Primary school, to help us with our class placement.
We like to find out how students are tracking in literacy and numeracy. We ask about their learning styles and preferences. We like to know if they have any particular skills or strengths or sports, all of which help us to group children together into their year 7 class.
