Room 14's Berwick Camp

During the last week of term Room 14 embarked on their week long camp at Berwick Lodge. A bitter southerly blast was forecast and the weather didn't disappoint, but we braved the conditions and had a great time!

Being the first class out to camp doesn't always mean you're guaranteed the best weather and Room 14 found this out during their visit to Berwick Lodge for their Year 8 camp. Despite the cold temperatures and rain we braved the conditions and had a great time.

We completed a range of different activities including abseiling; archery; mountain biking; tree climbing; crazy swing; dodgeball; table tennis; rock climbing; search and rescue activities; confidence course; and the infamous mud-run.

All students put themselves outside of their comfort zones and tried absolutely everything and completed all the activities that were asked of them.

A huge thank you must go to Evan from Adventure Masters and also the awesome group of Room 14 parents that made camp possible!

I'm already looking forward to our Challenge Day Out in Term 4! Bring it on!
