WOW- the Arts eXtravaganza!

On Wednesday night over 200 students took part in our Arts eXtravaganza at OBHS. The night came alive with music, dance, lights and drama as the Wearable Arts, Talent Quest finalists, dance crews , Pacific Island Dance and the amazing creations from hats, lanterns and masks took to the stage.

Over the last term students have ,  designed,  problem solved, persevered and created their designs to take part in our show. Some of these designs were made during our Full Steam Ahead sessions at school, others took on the challenge to make a complete design and worked on these at home.  During the last two weeks of school we then had rehearsals to bring together all the talent and present our Arts eXtravaganza show.

We were so impressed with the attitude,  commitment and enthusiasm of the students. A huge thank you to all the parents and caregivers who supported their child throughout this process. Thank you to all staff who either worked and helped to put the show together or supported by covering classes at school. It is a real team effort of collaboration and support to put on this show on.
