Teams have to produce a meal for their judges (classroom teachers). They compete against their learning partner that they have worked with all term and lots of laughs can be heard around the room.

Lentils was the component that many haven't used before but they soon found it is a versatile meat alternative. Some have canned tomatoes, or kidney beans. Mushrooms, spinach, kumara and capsicums often feature as a vegetable. A carb such as corn chips, rice or wraps can be seen and beef mince may be on a plate. The sweet box may include apples, Mandarins, chocolate, and cream cheese
