Y7's in the Kitchen

The first group have just finished their time in the foods room.

We have jumped straight into making and our focus has been on accurate measuring, safe cutting and reading the recipe.  We have made smoothies, scones, pizzas, muffins, stir-fry, fruit crumble, sushi, cauliflower & macaroni cheese, Anzac biscuits and chocolate cookies. 

We have also been learning about working collaboratory with our partner and table group while doing the clean up and making choices about what we are having when we have options to choose from. 

Our recipe booklets with the reports inside are due out this week, so watch out for them.

The recipes will be shared via google docs so hopefully you will have some cooks and bakers at your home recreating the recipes.
