Otago Primary/Intermediate School Swimming Championships

On Saturday 12th November we had a very strong swimming squad compete at the Otago Swimming championships held at Moana Pools. We had a large number of students participate in the 50m freestyle, breaststroke and breaststroke races as well as the relay and medley races.

Three outstanding performances which were recorded as new Otago records were;

• Mixed 12&O 4x50 Free Relay - Oliver Isles, Jamie Blair, Toby Hill, Lily McGarth

• Women 12&O 50 Breaststroke - Lily McGarth

• Mixed 4x50 Medley Relay - Oliver Isles, Lily McGarth, Jamie Blair, Harper Bannister

Congratulations to all swimmers involved and a big thank you to the parent helpers who volunteered their time during the day, much appreciated.
