Sassenachs Rugby 7s Tournament

At last our rugby girls and boys got to compete and run around together at the Sassenachs Rugby 7s Tournament. This tournament hasn’t been around for the last couple of years due to covid, and was brought back for all schools in Dunedin term 3 this year. Unfortunately the weather didn’t play its part in term 3 and it was postponed to this term.

On Thursday we had 4 teams compete at the 7s tournament held at Kettle Park, 2 girls teams and 2 boys teams. All players played with such pride and determination. Especially the year 8 girls and boys, as this was their last tournament for them in Balmac colours.
