There is much to recognise and celebrate as we come to the end of the year!

Kia ora koutou katoa

Well, we're almost at the end of a busy Term 4 and I've been super impressed with the energy and committment of staff and students over the last 6 weeks.

Our focus has been on keeping levels of student engagement high with many activities and events designed for maximum motivation. Rock climbing, ballet, athletics, triathlon, swimming, production, it's certainly been full on.

Whilst there have been many outstanding achievements in a number of areas, I must single out our production of "You're History" as an highlight. The entire cast and crew were superb. The show was lively, funny and gave students a chance to show off their amazing talents. A huge undertaking, with the directorial leadership of Charlotte Cooper and the support of many staff who contributed their time and energy into the show. Congratulations to all involved!

To celebrate the end of the year and to recognise outstanding achievements, we are very happy to be returning to the Regent Theatre on 6.00pm Monday 12 December for our Prizegiving Assembly. A special occasion in a lovely venue to sign off on the 2022 school year. It's an important and special evening and we look forward to seeing you there!

I'm looking forward to an enjoyable two weeks where our Year 8's make the most of their last days as an Intermediate student and our Year 7's get primed for school leadership next year!
