Message from the Principal

It really is hard to believe we are at the end of Term 3!

Tēnā koutou katoa

Term 3 has been a bit of a revelation. As we progressed out of Covid requirements and removed our masks, it seems like we were taken back in time. We were better able to smile, communicate, relate, teach and learn. It has really reminded us all of the importance human connection plays in our development and well being. This along with some typical Spring energy has really had a positive impact in our school. What a difference it has made.

On the staff front, we farewell Gill Fisher, our excellent librarian. Gill has created a wonderful environment in our library and has been a tireless champion for reading and literacy in our school. We wish her all the best for the future.

As you'll see in this newsletter, there's much to celebrate and be grateful for. The participation rates in cultural and sports activities continues to be impressive, as does the outstanding results achieved by our students.

I hope you all enjoy a safe and happy break. I look forward to seeing everyone back for an exciting Term 4.

Kind Regards

Andrew Hunter
