O'Mathalon success

After a two year break, finally the O'Mathalon was back on this year and Balmacewen teams achieved great results.

Balmacewen had 8 teams entered in the O'Mathalon on Thursday 25th August at the Edgar Centre. We had 4 year 7 teams of 4 and 4 year 8 teams of 4 students.

All of the students were well prepared and organised under the guidance of Mrs Janne Miller our maths extension teacher. 

Congratulations to Balmac A who won the year 7 grade, and Balmac A and Balmac B who came first and second respectively in the year 8 grade.

YEAR 7: (20 teams in competition)

Balmac A: 1st

Balmac B: 4th

Balmac C: 6th equal

Balmac D: 9th

YEAR 8: (21 teams in competition)

Balmac A: 1st

Balmac B: 2nd

Balmac C: 5th

Balmac D: 12th
