Year 7 Fabrics - Drawstring Bags

Our brief was to use our new machine sewing skills to create a functional drawstring bag!
All of our Year 7 students have almost completed their first outcome in Fabrics. There is a lot of new learning involved when creating with textiles. Our students learn to set their machine up independently and they are guided through the milestones ( learning steps ) of designing and creating a functional, lined drawstring bag.
Many will say their highlight is getting to choose their own fabrics. All students can be proud of the process they have been through. It is a mistake making, advice taking time and we are better learners because of this. Well done to all of our Year 7 students!
