Chess success for Balmacewen!

Congratulations to the Balmacewen chess team for winning the Otago - Southland Chess Championship.
We entered 3 teams in the Otago - Southland Championships last weekend. All teams performed very well finishing 1st, 5th and 7th.
The top team of Zihan, Niko, Scotty and Thisun were well deserved winners in a tight contest on the day.
Balmac 3 of Callum, Syuaqi, Sammie, Joshua finished 5th and Balmac 2 of Henry, Otis, Lewis and Bobby finished 7th.
