CAMLAB Challenge #1

By Jake Scott | Posted: Wednesday April 6, 2022
Term 1 kicked off our 2022 series of camlab challenges. Camlab challenges test students abilities to problem solve and collaborate.

Challenge 1 was the Marble Challenge. Simple really, keep the marble rolling for as long as possible unassisted. Materials used were limited to tape and cardboard. It was great to see the CAMLAB fizzing with enthusiasm and commitment to the problem. Many tackled this daily in an effort to win challenge 1. We saw a variety of approaches and strategies to keep Mr marble moving.

Leon Judd took out the challenge with a massive 42 seconds. Congratulations Leon.

Challenge 2 has been revealed; a design challenge using Piskel.com.
