Welcome to Term Two!

We are looking forward to seeing everybody back, refreshed and ready to go!

Kia ora everyone

I hope you have all enjoyed a good holiday break and made the most of some good autumn weather.

You'll be aware that in the Orange setting, the Ministry of Education still "strongly encourages" the wearing of masks inside at school.

Given there is a consistent number of cases still being seen in the south and that only around a third of our staff and students have had covid, we also think there is good reason to continue using masks indoors.

We are about to hit the normal cold and flu season and think that masks will be another way to keep everyone healthy and well.

Masks certainly became second nature for us last term and were less of an imposition than you might think.

Whilst there is no compulsion to do so, we encourage students to wear masks indoors at school.

Ngā mihi nui
