Yr 8 students have been investigating Maori Waka history and building techniques. The students have then built their own concept as a model or display board.

With the Waka many different ideas have been developed by the students. It has been good to see the variety and growth mindset being displayed. From Maui, the great Waka and NZ settlement the students have been well engaged and interacted with the project material positively. The Yr 7 students have been continuing with plastic and also some are starting to utilise other materials to further develop their basic tool skills.
