Lots of excited and nervous smiles greeted us in the hall this morning!

What a great first day we have had. Well done to everyone for making the day happy and fun. A warm welcome to all new students and families to Balmacewen. I look forward to getting to know you all throughout the year.

Our Balmacewen values of perseverance, excellence, respect and kindness were nicely on display today as students made new friends and supported each other. A very good start to what matters most to us.

The next few weeks will see us get fully into our programmes. Year 7's will be on camp, there'll be swimming, summer sports, music and technology. It's a lot to take in so please help your child to be organised and informed. If in doubt, please ask. Your child's teacher is only an email away. 

I look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday 10 February at our "Meet the Teacher Evening".
