Sassenachs Rugby

On Wednesday 23rd September 3 Balmacewen teams played in the annual Otago Rugby Sassenachs Rugby Tournament at Bishopscourt
We had a Year 8 Boys, Year 7 Boys and a Girls Team entered into the tournament. The weather held and all teams played 4 games over the day against DNI, Taieri, Kavanagh and Tahuna in the various grades. A lot of fun and learning happened.
The Year 7 Boys played Tahuna for 3rd-4th, and the Girls and Year 8 Boys both played Tahuna for their respective finals. All close games but not our day to win.
