What's hot in the Year 7 Kitchen?

Food Technology at Balmacewen has begun.
Group A started the year with a fruit smoothie and finished their first rotation with some yummy cookies. They measured, sieved, mixed, rolled, stirred, poured, and cooked their way through the recipes. A smoothie, scones, pizza, muffins, stir-fry, fruit crumble, and cookies were all created. Some may have made it home for sampling but others were gone very quickly.
The students will come back in Term 3 for their second rotation in the Foods Room. All the students have been emailed the recipes we have used this term. They get their books at the end of the year with their Technology reports.
