We warmly welcome our returning Year 8 students and new Year 7 students to Balmacewen Intermediate for the 2019 school year. Please read on for important start of year information...

Our first day of school is Wednesday 30th January. We ask all students to please meet in the school hall at 9.00am in correct school uniform. Parents and caregivers are welcome. 

From here students will find out their classroom and teacher for 2019 and then will move to their new classroom with their teacher.

A reminder that stationery lists are on our website and included in this publication. School PE tops will be distributed at school over the first few days of school. Students should have navy blue shorts and they can bring mufti PE gear to use for PE in the first couple of days of school. 

We encourage students to apply sunscreen and to bring a sun hat to school to wear when outside. 

There will be a number of notices and various information coming home over the first few days of school. This will be via email or will be posted on our website or facebook page. You may also receive a paper notice. If you find you haven't received any emails from the school in the first week, please contact your child's teacher or our school office office@balmacewen.school.nz
