Year 8 News

The Year 8 Staff would like to take this opportunity to thank all families and friends of our students for the support you have given during 2018. We have appreciated working in partnership with you to provide a variety of activities that have added to our educational programmes.

During 2018 the students have  blossomed in all areas.  We would like to congratulate the students on their developments and achievements. The  foundations that have been set, especially the focus on our core school values, will provide a scaffold for maneuvering  future endeavours.

Term 4 has seen us cover one of our most important units of work, that is the health unit titled "Challenges and Decision Making."  Hopefully your child has shared the messages of these lessons with you.  Being able to talk to parents and families about the pressures of puberty is an important strategy to successfully navigating the challenges ahead.

We would like to wish your child all the best for the next chapter of their schooling. It is pleasing to see so many students applying themselves in class and getting involved in extracurricular activities. Taking this can do attitude forward will see your child make the most of the high school years.

We wish everyone a happy and safe festive season.
