What's hot in the Kitchen with the Year 7's?

The Year 7's have started their second time in the technology rooms.

This half of the year the focus is on experimenting with flavours and textures.  The students are becoming used to a variety of recipes and how much to use of the herbs, spices and chosen other ingredients to add to their recipe.  (Although some are still experimenting with amounts!)

We have made Designer Anzac Biscuits, Bread, and  Muesli and we made our own label for our muesli.   Each time we design we have a specific brief for the design and a different focus for the flavours.  We have had some creative ideas this group and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year.
