This start of the the term has been full of fun and learning. So far we’ve had Mandarin, Mrs Dick, Tech, Volleyball skills, Full STEAM ahead and many other things.

In Mandarin we are learning about and animals such as Cat = māo Panda = Xióngmāo Monkey = Hóu. As apart of this we learnt our Zodiacs too.

With Mrs Dick we are learning about electronics and motors. We learnt how to use a motor and used tinkercad to experiment what connections could work. Last term was 3D printing so some pencil holders we created have gotten printed.

We’ve had a great start to tech so far. In foods they have made delicious foods such as smoothie, scones, pizza and lemon crunch muffins.

In hards they’ve got there plastic and are starting their filing process and by the end of the term their creation will look awesome.

In fabrics they have learnt all about the sewing machine either with a Bernina or a Janome.

Also they have made their cushion inners.

Last but not least in arts they have started working on their masterpiece.

Lately we have been learning some volleyball skills like digs/bumps and serves. Mr Martin, Mr Scott, Mr Cooke and Mrs Burden have all helped us. In a few months we’ll be able to play a full game.

And finally we had our first lesson on “Full STEAM ahead”. It was so fun and we can’t wait till next week.

That’s it for this week. Bye.
