This week in Room 10 we went to Toitu to learn about Dunedin's history.

We learned about the soldiers who died in World War 1, and we found some family connections.  We found some floral symbols representing countries: thistle -Scotland; rose-England; daffodil -Wales; Shamrock-Ireland.

We saw a slideshow of Dunedin before the Gold Rush to after it had finished. It went from muddy roads to having smooth flat concrete. We saw what the living conditions were like in their mud shacks.

We found some family connections in the photo gallery, and we walked around Dunedin gathering photos for our Nigel Brown art.

We are very excited for swimming sports coming up this Friday,

And we are also looking forward to Camp.
