Basketball Otago Holiday camps and Trials

BBO will have some holiday camps at the end of January:
1. Digger’s Two day camp (years 1-8) is the 26 & 27th (Thursday & Friday) of January from 9am-Noon. Cost is $50 per kid, or $40 if registering more than 1 child per family.
a. Once again I am looking for coaching volunteers for that camp. If your son or daughter would like to help out, then he/she is welcome to attend the Academy Camp for free. Please contact me if you have a keen child.
2. Academy Camp (Years 8ish and up) is on the 26 & 27 (Thursday and Friday) of January from Noon-2pm.
3. Position Camp (high school aged only). Online rego. coming soon. This camp will be led by coaches from around the country and will feature WBC and NBL coaches and players. You will be broken up by position (post, wing, point) and go through position specific drills and games. Boys and Girls will be separated and each will have their own 2 hour block on Saturday and on Sunday. The cost for this is not set and more details are to follow. I highly encourage this camp for players and coaches to attend. Please stay tuned for more info on this once per year camp.
Coach Development Opportunities – BBNZ approved Kiwi Hoops and Community Coach Courses
1. BBO will be offering 3 dates for the Kiwi Hoops Coach (all kiwi hoops coaches). See flyer attached for details.
2. BBO will be offering 1 date for the Community Coach (secondary schools or club coach). See flyer for details.
2017 Representative Trials: (I know it is early, but I will resend as we get closer)
1. Representative Trials for U15-U19 are after Waitangi Day Weekend in February and the flyer with that info is attached.
2. Representative Trials for U13 are in mid May and that flyer is attached.
