Read on to find out about how netball works at Balmacewen Intermediate School.

Netball is played on a Thursday at the Edgar Centre. Games are any time from 3:45pm until 6pm.  The first game is May 24th, Week 4 of Term 2.

We need parents to coach and to umpire teams and if we do not have enough parent helpers not all children will be able to play.

The cost is set at $85 and this needs to be paid to the office by May 1st.

Registration process

All players need to register following this link https://goo.gl/forms/N1uqwEbLgxmy5M5J2 this link is for Balamcewen Intermediate  and all players also need to complete this link for the Dunedin netball centre https://www.sporty.co.nz/viewform/72925.  These forms will be closed off on Monday 26th March and therefore all registrations need to be completed by then.

Selection process

During the registration process you can select for your child to trial for a competitive team or to be placed into a social or non competitive grade.

If you wish for your child to trial for a competitive team, trials are to be held at the Edgar Centre on Sunday 8 April.  9am - 10:30am for Year 7 players, 10:30am - Noon for Year 8 players.

If you child wishes to play for a non competitive team, then they are not required to trial.
