Basketball Season

It has been a fantastic and busy year for Balmacewen Basketball!

Firstly a huge thank-you to all teaches, parents and other helpers who assisted with coaching or managing a team. Without you it is impossible for all students to have a chance to play. The players and I have appreciated all your hard work and organisation!

It was an extremely successful season for Balmacewen as we won all 4 A grades. I have heard really positive feedback from Basketball Otago about our players. Well done to all students who gave it a go! It was great to see the commitment all of you showed.

A basketball prize giving will be held in the school hall on Monday 31st of August at 3:20pm until 4:15pm. Each team will receive any certificates awarded from Basketball Otago and some individuals will be awarded certificates from their coaches.

Each team will have a group photograph taken so it is imperative your child has their basketball uniform with them; these then will be handed back in after the photos. Please ensure the uniforms are clean and pressed.

Again a huge congratulations to all players, coaches and managers on an amazing season.
