Jacob blasts 142 in T20 match

The boys cricket team travelled to Naseby to play Maniototo. Balmacewen won the toss and chose to bat. The fast outfield and small boundaries were always going to be a challenge for the bowling team.

From the first ball Jacob faced which he dispatched through midwicket for four, he proceeded to blast 14 fours and 13 sixes in an excellent display. He was ably supported by Josh (22) and Henry 19 not out.

In reply Maniototo managed 95 with all Devon, Ben and Will taking two wickets each.

However the day belonged to Jacob who achieved a feat that may not ever be repeated.
