Book review of The Book of Hat

This is one of the books Room 3 voted for in the NZ Book Awards.

Although I haven't had cancer, I do relate a little bit to this book because, I have my own school blog. I have also read a lot of cancer related books, such as The Fault In Our Stars.

This book kind of reminds me of The Fault In Our Stars. This is a good thing because The Fault In Our Stars is my favourite book, because the girl (Hazel) takes us through her story of having cancer like the girl in The Book Of Hat, even though Hazel’s story isn't real.

The girl in The Book Of Hat has a picture of her journey going through cancer on every chapter, I like them because you can see what she's going through us well us reading it.

This book makes you laugh and cry all at the same time. I like feeling different emotions when I’m reading a book because that means it's not boring and it leaves you thinking.

In a book I like lots of emotions, a book that leaves you thinking, where you can picture what's happening and a book that leaves you with cliff hangers. This book has everything you could ever want in a book.
