Otago Primary Swimming Championships

On Saturday 9th April Balmacewen had 26 swimmers compete in the Otago Champs at Moana Pool.

Congratulations to Shima who placed 1st in the Girls 11 year 50m Freestyle, 3rd in the 50m Breaststroke and 3rd in the 50m Backstroke at the Otago Swim Champs today. Fantastic effort!

In the relays Balmac A were 3rd in the 11 year 200m Freestyle relay (Felix, Anna, Evie and Shima).

Balmac H were 3rd in the Mixed 200m Freestyle Relay (Isabella, Evie, Sarah and Shima).

Well done to all swimmers - Bronte, Ollie, Will, Becky, Anna, Hannah, Taineara, Sarah, Dima, Felix, Isabella, Evie, Shima, Emily, Tayla, Inez, Nancy, Gemma, Grace, Lara, Jess, Richard, Winston, Xing, Jack and Finn.
