Road safety and alternative pick up points.

Please help us to keep our students safe and reduce congestion at our front gate by considering alternative options when picking up your son or daughter from school.
Chapman Street becomes an especially problematic area at 3.00pm. Please help us make this a less congested area by considering a different pick up/drop off place.
A safe and popular option is the Kaikorai Rugby carpark. There is plenty of room for parking and students can walk across the field safely to meet their parents/caregivers.
Please avoid the bus stop area and also please do not U-turn in the intersection opposite the school gate.
We can all help make our school gate a safer place.
We remind our students regularly about road safety, please help us by having the conversation at home.
Last year our Student Council made a brochure regarding road safety with alternative options for pick ups, this is attached.
