We have been exploring the properties of ice and observing what happens when we add salt and food colouring to ice.

We know scientists observe and then ask questions sparked from their observations.
We wanted to find out more about why salt melts ice and how is ice formed and why there are crystals in ice.
Our challenge is to find research to increase our understanding then share our new knowledge.
We have to use an experiment to help us explain our new knowledge. We are going to share our knowledge as scientists.
