Balmacewen School Cross Country this Friday

Weather permitting, the Balmacewen Intermediate Cross Country will be held at school on Friday 12th August. It will take place between 1.15pm and 2.45pm.

The students running at the following times:

Year 7 girls 1.20pm

Year 7 boys 1.40pm

Year 8 girls 2.00pm

Year 8 boys 2.20pm

The results of theses races will be used to select the students who will represent Balmacewen Intermediate at the Intermediate Schools Cross Country at Kaikorai Valley College on Friday 2nd September.

Students will need to have a nutritious lunch on the day of the cross country and they will need to have a water bottle at school. They are expected to wear correct sports uniform; navy shorts (no trackies please) the school sports t.shirt and sports shoes and socks. The students should also have their jersey or school tracksuit jacket and their dark blue track pants to put on afterwards. If students wish to wear house colours they may, however there is to be no vivid used on arms, legs etc.

Students will still come to school in their correct school uniform and will change into their PE gear at lunchtime.
