Year 8 Infection

Year 8 classes get active with a huge game of infection.

Today the Year 8 group met to discuss our fitness challenge for the year, which is to run the length of NZ.    We will run for a maximum of an hour a week around a measured course.  Each class will then combine all individual distances and register it as a class total.

The main purpose of this endeavour is for each child to improve their  personal excellence in this area.  All teachers  firmly believe that this will also result in an improved application to academic pursuits.

Another important benefit of this activity is that it will build a positive class culture where students will encourage and support each other.

Each class will keep you posted of their progress.
