Have you ever wondered why the floorboards move in the fabrics room? I’m very sorry to tell you that it didn’t just happen by accident. It’s not just another ordinary fabrics room. When you go behind the fabrics room, you will notice the there is a gap underneath it. Under the fabrics room there are autumn leaves piled, the tragic incident is hidden very well under those leaves. A long time ago, in 1920, there used to be a basement, it was there to lock up kids that didn’t behave well, they were left in the dark and occasionally the teacher would come down with a torch and spank the kid with a wooden spoon. No not Miss Riley, oh come on she’s not old. There was another teacher called Mr Hitler. I have uncovered the diary of one of the victims that now haunts the room instead.

I was sitting there, twirling the single strand of my hair that was not forced under my hair tie. I started to blink and lose my will to stay awake. Being locked in the basement was bad, but I felt like this was more painful, listening to Mr Hitler talk for about what seemed 2 hours about his plan to conquer the world, well at least he’s going back to Germany next year. Fabrics was the most pointless tech, there are no sewing machines, well at least we can’t use them anyways. The floor was always covered in dust and the chairs were ripped, while the stuffing was spitting out within the chair. There were two long tables on each side of the room and an enormous space were other tables could go. My legs were crossed and started to hurt but I wouldn’t dare move my legs if I didn’t want to get to the basement. The wooden door was cracked and it was wide open. SLAM! I listened closely for the wind but there was nothing it was a cloudless day. Mr Hitler was wearing his grumpy face on. He looked right at me, I'm 2 steps away from the door come on, Mr Hitler can't be serious. Sadly I was the closest to the door. He shot me such a furious look. If looks could kill, I'd be long gone. Stomp! Stomp! STOMP! Creeak! He pointed his finger to down to the the cold dark torturous basement.

I feel the world on my shoulders as I get up on my feet. My ankles ached from the sitting. I staggered over to the basement. It was as though I could feel everyone looking at me. Klank! The sound it made when my foot touched the brownish metal stairs. SLAM! Click! Mr Hitler must of shut the door behind. There were two windows but they were at the top of the stairs. With every step the light started to fade out. It was Pitch black, I was hoping my eyes would get used to the dark, but they didn't. I must’ve been getting scared, because I started to hear sounds. A sulky and moaning voice spoke ‘ I'm coming if you don't go away.’ My legs reacted faster than my mind. ‘Let me in.’ I yelled and pounded at the door. Mr Hitler completely ignored me. Honestly, what is wrong with him? ‘I'll give you three seconds to leave.’ 1…..Please make this just a dream, please, I prayed to God. .. 2..I opened my mouth to shout but the words didn't seem to come to my mouth….3… The class shook, the tables and chairs fell, the books toppled on top of each other. I screamed in pain, I felt the blood pouring down and the doors suddenly swung open and I fell face forward on to the floorboards of the fabrics room lifeless.
