New students with new ideas and developing new skills.

A great start to the year.  The  Year 7 students have been positive and enthusiastic with trying out new things.  The Year 8 students are focusing on expanding their existing skills and developing new skills.

Our junior students are making wooden books/albums.  They have been using files, sand paper, drills, hammers, screw drivers and measuring.  A few students have been doing poker work and using the gas torch, which they like to call the flame thrower.

Our senior students are making clocks.  They have been using files, sand paper, drills, saws, and vernier calipers.  There are a great variety of ideas being generated and it has been good to see the effort to target the stakeholders interests.

The motorbike is progressing, the rear brakes now work well and the exhaust now has a bracket.  The tank now has a coat of paint, thanks Archie-painted before school that's keen.
