We're running the length of New Zealand!

Since the beginning of the year, Room 23 have been challenging themselves to run the length of new Zealand.

Running at least a couple of km each a week, so far we have gotten to an astonishing 400 km. When you reach a certain city in New Zealand you have to do a class team exercise which builds teamwork, trust and fitness.

The positives about running is that we all are in a better mood so everyone is nicer to each other. Another good thing about running is we are already training for the cross country! Even though the cross country is in term 3 we are already training without knowing it. Think how fit we will be on the actual day!

In a normal session we run from the small tree beside the turf and along the concrete path to the Kaikorai Rugby Club and back again. Every lap is 500 m but by the time we have finished we are ready for the next lesson to begin.
