Netball season is about to begin

The netball season is fast approaching! We have 12 teams entered into the Intermediate competition that is held at the Edgar Centre every Thursday afternoon.

The weekly draw is published on the Dunedin Netball webpage http://www.dunedinnetball.co.nz/ and it will also be published on our school website. The calendar of the season is also available online : https://www.sporty.co.nz/asset/downloadasset?id=4d35146d-8273-4e0b-a575-a45aa04a2f94

The school van is available for those players who have a 3:45pm game and cannot find their own arrangements to the game. This is a first in - first served basis and players need to write their name on the list in R6 on a Monday morning. There is a $2 charge for this. Please note the van does not come back to school and therefore players need to find their own way home from the Edgar Centre after their game.

It is important that your child attends all netball training sessions with their coach. It is imperative they get in contact with their coach if they are unable to attend due to injury or illness.

Please ensure your child is ready to play netball - nails trimmed, hair tied up, all jewellery removed and no PE gear/skins/tights under their netball uniform.

Finally, a very big thanks to our staff, former students and parent community who are coaching and umpiring this season! Without you all, we would not be able to field the 12 teams that we have.

I look forward to seeing you all at the Edgar Centre in the coming weeks.
